How We Eat
Is A Reflection
of How We Live
I've got a lot to show you.
Hey there, I'm Channon. Executive Chef, Certified Sommelier, and Certified Wellness Coach.
I teach things...
I was fortunate. I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I was 18 years old. To learn more about food, wine, wellness, and international culture. Since then, I've spent decades investing in that calling. Because commitment to consistency ultimately yields clarity. As an Air Force veteran, training is deeply ingrained in who I am (mind, body, and soul). It shaped my success during military service, where I had the privilege of working directly for two 4-star Generals and leading elite operational planning teams. Those were my special duty assignments then. Today, my special duty assignments are food & wine and wellness lifestyle. The platform has changed. The complexity has evolved. But the responsibility to serve at a high level has remained constant. Now, as an Executive Chef, Certified Sommelier, and Certified Wellness Coach, I bring a performance mindset to everything I do. I believe we are all professional athletes required to perform, produce, and evolve. That requires intentional training. From 1996 to 2017, I lived abroad in Asia and Europe, where complete cultural immersion left an indelible impression on me. During that time, I worked in restaurants, bistros, trattorias, tasting rooms, and wineries, learning from some of the most dynamic organizations and industry leaders in the world. These experiences shaped both my technical expertise and my global perspective. I pursued graduate school, then formal wellness education, followed by culinary school at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley. I later earned a Master’s degree in Professional Studies in Wine Management from the CIA and continued my wine education through the Court of Master Sommeliers to become a Certified Sommelier. I have the honor of working with some of the most beautiful and influential people this world has to offer. What I discovered along my journey was that learning more, segues from passion into purpose. Service, not servitude, is why we are here. Enduring education leads to clarity of thought. Clarity leads to better decisions in life and business. I am a lifelong advocate for both formal and informal education. Learning doesn't end with a diploma, degree, or certification. That’s just the beginning. When you invest in yourself, sustained growth becomes more than discipline. It becomes a way of life. One that yields wisdom, resilience, and reward.
